Ever Sales: keep opportunities moving
Use opportunities to connect customer context, a responsible salesperson, the next conversation and a quotation. A stage describes progress; it is not a substitute for the underlying document.
Follow the workflow
- Find the customer before creating another record.
- Create or open the opportunity, assign responsibility and record the next follow-up date.
- Add a specific activity note so the next person knows what was agreed.
- Prepare a quotation from the linked opportunity when scope and customer are ready.
- Use the supported stage action; won opportunities are protected, while a lost opportunity can be reopened to an allowed early stage.

Before you continue
If an edit is refused, check the opportunity’s current stage and refresh it. Do not create a duplicate opportunity just to bypass a protected state.
Your questions, answered
Where do I record the next conversation?
Use an opportunity activity and its follow-up date.
